Roller shutters in the SK and SKE adaptive systems are mainly designed for use in existing buildings. The advantage of these products is undoubtedly the lack of interference with the current state of the building, as they do not require special preparations for installation and are not integrated with the window. This allows us to make a decision about installing roller shutters in the adaptive system at any time. These solutions can be mounted to the window joinery (in the recess) or directly on the wall. In the first case, semi-oval SKP box systems are recommended, which are an excellent combination with the facade, or SK and SKE systems (version with an extruded box), where the box is cut at a 45° angle.
The curtain of the roller shutter usually consists of profiles made of high-quality aluminum sheet filled with polyurethane foam, with special two-layer lacquer coatings in the PU/PA system. This makes them characterized by increased resistance to wear and the effects of weather conditions. Stiffer and more stable profiles made of extruded aluminum and plastic profiles are also available in the offer. Adaptive roller systems can be integrated with a mosquito net. Such a comprehensive solution ensures effective protection against insects in the summer, while protecting the interior of rooms from heat loss in the winter.
