A pergola is a few extra square meters of space outside of your home or establishment that guarantees the ability to step outside and breathe in fresh air no matter the weather conditions. Is a pergola a desirable attribute of modern architecture or just a stylish whim in the 21st century? It is a versatile solution designed to cover large areas, but not only that. That is why we are excited about this new addition to our offerings and eager to tell you more about the first pergola system available on the market.

The MB-OpenSky 140 pergola system, as the name suggests, truly opens up the sky. Whether it is sun, snow, or rain, every user will appreciate the benefits of this updated version of a centuries-old architectural solution that fits perfectly with the trend of modern construction.

MB-OpenSky 140 What do we already know about the first pergola system, the MB-OpenSky 140? It works just as well for single-family homes and commercial buildings (cafes, restaurants). The modern design, movable blades, side glazing, and sun protection panels provide unlimited design possibilities and will appeal to even the most demanding investors.
What's more? Thanks to the exceptionally large dimensions of one pergola segment, a structure of 7m x 5m x 3m can be built without additional columns. The MB-OpenSky 140 pergolas are characterized by their stiffness and durability - for the largest dimensions, the permissible snow load is as high as 0.72 kN/m², which corresponds to a 35-centimeter snow cover with simultaneous wind loading at a speed of around 110 km/h!

The roof louvers are equipped with movable louvers that work from 0 to 135° with a gradual adjustment of the angle of the profile tilt. The louver control mechanism, actuator, central arms and wires have been built into the pergola structure and are completely hidden. The movable roof louvers allow for a tight closure that protects against rainwater, and the drainage system allows for effective drainage of rainwater through gutters and downspouts to the storm sewer. Control can be achieved with a remote control, switch, phone app or through an appropriate scenario in the home control system. The system also includes various sensors to ensure user comfort, including wind, rain and sun sensors.

The screws, connectors, and node connectors are also hidden in the profiles, giving a simple, rigid, aesthetically pleasing, and well-fitting connection of the pergola's structural profiles. Similarly, the MB-OpenSky 140 pergola drainage can be completely hidden in the structure or have a visible water discharge from the column. The column feet come in the form of a visible console and a completely hidden console in the column. The LED lighting of the structure can be both in the roof slats in the form of a LED strip and point light, and additionally around the perimeter in the upper part of the pergola structure.
